Singapore is home to many Michelin starred chefs cooking up culinary delights that fuse east with west for some of the finest and most interesting dining in the world. A unique dining experience can be had at the Au Jardin which offers moonlit views of the Singapore Botanical Gardens while you eat, and was once the home of a Cambridge Botanist. For a quintessential Singapore experience however, you’ll need to begin your evening at the Raffles Hotel and drink a famous Singapore Sling in the Lounge Bar.
Shopping
Like everything else Singapore turns it’s hand to, shopping here is some of the finest. Orchard road the central retail district which is lined with malls on both sides offers everything from designer clothes to watches, electronics and the best technology and computer equipment. Centrepoint lies at the centre of Orchard road, and is home to Robinsons an award wining department store which is the oldest in Singapore.
