Salzburg: Various locations 10.00-19.00 throughout December: Christmas markets in many of the city squares, selling Gluhwein, decorations, gifts and crafts
Vienna: Naschmarkt Naschmarkt, Wienzeile. Mon-Fri 06.00-18.30, Sat 04.00-14.00. During the week this is a fruit and vegetable market, but at weekends the fleamarket takes over. Early arrival definitely recommended for bargain hunting.

Prague: Bric a Brac Bric a Brac, Tynska 7. Daily 10.00-19.00. not really a fleamarket, more a junk shop with Antique shop prices, but a large selection of unusual items, and some bargains to be found if you look carefully.

Zagreb: Britanski trg (British Square) Every Sunday, in the open, 07:00 - 15:00, free entrance (no fleamarket if there is rain), antiques: postcards, furniture, weapons, stamps, coins, licence plates-sometimes, toys-sometimes, books, etc.

Lille: Marché de Wazemmes Streets around Place de la Nouvelle Aventure. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays 07.00 - 14.00. Mostly a huge and very crowded food and clothes market, but in the corner behind the big church you'll find a couple of dozen stalls selling collectibles and antiques. Take the Metro from Eurostar or centre of town - time is too precious to waste!
Lille: Braderie de Lille Many locations, first weekend in September. The whole town transforms in to a giant outdoor fleamarket. Book hotels early!

Over 50 stalls, with "a broad range of fine art, modern art, collectibles, furniture, soft furnishings and hand crafts with an eclectic mix usually only seen in traditional European flea markets."

Lisbon: Brocante du Parque das Nacoes Brocante du Parque das Nacoes, Pavilhao doPortugal. 2nd & 3rd Sun, 10.00-19.00. Second hand market, a favourite for collectors.

Barcelona: Els Encants Els Encants, Placa de las Glories (Metro Glories). Mon, Wed, Fri & Sat 09.00-17.30 (Winter) and 09.00-18.00 (Summer). Early starters will find the treasures amongst the scrap, jumble and confusion at this real flea market.
Barcelona: Mercat Gotic Mercat Gotic, Avinguada Catedral, 6 (Metro Liceu). Thursdays 09.00-20.00 (not August). The cathedral square fills with a variety of stalls selling all manner of bricabrac and collectables.
Barcelona: Mercat Sant Antoni Mercat Sant Antoni, C.del Comte d'Urgell, 1 (Metro Sant Antoni). Mon, Wed, Fri & Sat 09.00-19.00 (Clothes) and Sun 09.00-14.00 (Books). Classic retro clothes and all types of printed collectibles, just pick your day.

Madrid: Rastro El Rastro, Calle Ribera de Curtidores (and adjacent streets). Sun & holidays09.00-14.00. Huge fleamarket filling the streets and selling just about anything under the sun. Very busy, large crowds, great bargains.
Calendar of Spanish Antique Fairs & Flea Markets
Seville: Alameda de Hercules Alameda de Hercules, Barrio de la Macarena. Thurs & Sun a.m. The oldest market in Seville, is especially good on public holidays, but can usually provide a good range of antiques, collectables and general bricabrac.
Seville: Rastro del Parque Alcosa Rastro del Parco Alcosa (North-East of the City Centre). Sunday mornings. A wide range of clothing, shoes, lamps, furniture all at bargain prices.
