![]() OK, I live and work here, so travelling isn't a problem. London has some fabulous sources of antiques and collectables, and I'm doing my best to go to as many as I can!
ALFIES
GREENWICH The Royal Observatory, the Cutty Sark and the National Maritime Museum are here but so is a bustling group of markets. Several outdoor fleamarkets, a couple of indoor market spaces, and the beautiful Greenwich Arts and Crafts Market, right at the core of this historic part of London. A great day out for the market browser. Kitsch 1960s retro stuff abounds in a shop on the first floor of one of the market buildings (and another shop - Flying Duck Enterprises - a shrine to Kitsch just 200-300 yards away). Teeming with tourists at weekends, there are plenty of eating opportunities, both indoor and outdoor, with pubs, the comedy club and transport links in easy range. The flea markets themselves are very near each other: Thames St (outdoor), The Bosun's Yard in Greenwich Church St, Greenwich Antique Market in Greenwich High Rd and the Central Market in Stockwell St. BERMONDSEY WATERLOO CAMDEN ISLINGTON BOOK & ANTIQUE FAIRS
