Galerie Vivienne
Arguably Paris's most elegant and luxurious Passage, Galerie Vivienne was built in 1823 by Marchoux, who was at the time president of the Chambre des Notaires, and designed by the architect Delannoy. Opended to the public in 1826, it was an immediate success due to its excellent location between the Palais Royal, Le Bourse and the Boulevards. Galerie Vivienne has recently undergone a major restoration.
